About Us
We started with a problem most people just accept.
Cracked skin. Bug bites. Rashes. Burns. The kind of everyday stuff that sends you reaching for petroleum jelly, synthetic creams, or whatever's under the bathroom sink — products full of ingredients we can't pronounce, with sub-par results.
We thought there had to be a better way.
Common Remedies was built on that belief.
We're a woman veteran-owned small business based in Stansbury Park, Utah. We make petroleum-free, multi-use healing balms by hand — using only clean, research-backed ingredients that have been studied, documented, and proven to work. No synthetic fillers, no artificial fragrance, no shortcuts.
Every batch of That Jawn Balm starts with locally sourced Utah beeswax and ends with ingredients we researched through peer-reviewed journals and evidence-based data. We don't use anything we can't stand behind.
Why "That Jawn"?
"Jawn" is a Philadelphia word. It means that thing — the one you reach for when you need it. The one that handles whatever comes up. We wanted to make something that lived up to that name: one product, multiple uses, real results.
Made in Utah. Built for everyone.
From dry mountain winters to summer bug bites to toddler rashes — we make That Jawn Balm for real life. All skin types, all ages, all the everyday moments that need something that actually works.
We're glad you found us.
